EAGLE VALLEY RULES AND REGAULATIONS
Adopted as amended Eagle Valley Fall Board Meeting 2007
1. Eagle members and guests must stop and register. A current Eagle receipt must be presented together with personal ID if required, to enter the campground. All vehicles must have current registration. Camping fees will be as follows:

(Limit multiple appliances plugged in at one time.)
Reservations for Memorial Day Weekend

A. No reservations from Eagle Members will be accepted before 8 AM, May 1st. Reservations will be taken in the following order: door, phone, mail, and email.
Exceptions:

  1. Anyone working on a work party before the 1st of May can reserve one site for self plus
one additional site.

  2. Eagle Valley Board Members may reserve one campsite before May 1st.

B. All reservations for Memorial Day Weekend are to be a minimum of two nights

  1. All reservations for Memorial Day Weekend are to be paid within five working days.
Postmarks will be the deciding factor.

  2. All other reservations for other times is to be paid within seven days.
2. Guest regulations and rules are the same as required in local Aeries. We reserve the right
to refuse service to anyone and will not be responsible for accident or injury to campers or loss
of money or property or valuables of any kind.
3. Violators of rules will be warned the first time. Violations of these rules may result in
expulsion from Eagle Valley. Violation of the rules will be dealt with by the caretakers at the
time of the violation. The caretaker is responsible for enforcing these rules. When the caretaker
expels a person or persons from the Valley, the caretaker is to notify the Chairman of the Board
of Directors of the Eagle Valley Board in writing within seven (7) days of the action taken,
describing the violation and stating the reasons for the action taken. The caretaker shall have
the authority to expel violators for a period not to exceed one month from the date of the violation.
In the event the aggrieved party or parties feel that the action taken is unjust, he/she/they may
appeal to the Disciplinary/Appeals Board in writing within fifteen (15) days of the date of the
expulsion. The Disciplinary/Appeals Board shall have the authority to agree or disagree with the
decision of the caretaker. They shall also have the authority to increase or decrease the length
of the suspension. If appealed, the Disciplinary/Appeals Board must take action within thirty (30)
days of the expulsion. (See Rule 21.)
4. SPEED LIMIT: 5 MPH, OR AS POSTED. This pertains to any form of transportation - car, bus, bicycle,
motorcycle, moped, horse, etc. Remain on the road at all times. No riding of ATV’s in the campground.
All vehicles must be registered and licensed. (NO vehicle shall be driven by an unlicensed driver at
any time.)
5. TRASH: Trash removal service is available for $1.00 per bag. Maximum size is a 35 gal. bag.
Bags must be wrapped and tied and placed in the Dumpster. Don’t leave trash at the campsite.
Please use recycle bins for cans, and don't leave garbage in the fire rings.
6. PETS: Animals are the responsibility of their owners. ALL ANIMALS MUST BE ON 10ft.LEASH
(does not extend out of their campsite) AND NOT ALLOWED TO RUN LOOSE OR BE LEFT UNATTENDED.
OWNERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DISPOSAL OF THEIR ANIMAL'S DROPPINGS. ONLY SERVICE PETS ARE
ALLOWED IN ANY BUILDING AT THE VALLEY.
Owners of pets making excessive noise will be subject
to disciplinary action.
7. WILDLIFE: Please help preserve it. No hunting, trapping or feeding is allowed.
8. KITCHEN: For use by members and member groups for activities. Groups are expected to leave
the kitchen as found. You must call the caretakers for scheduling the kitchen for use. A fee of
fifty ($50.00) dollars per day, and a deposit of fifty ($50.00) dollars must be paid before the
date of use. The deposit will be returned if there is no damage, and thorough cleaning is done.
Cancellations must be made two (2) weeks prior to use, otherwise deposit funds will not be refunded.
The scheduled Eagle Valley events are excluded from the fees.
9. FIRES: Open fires allowed in the fire rings only. DO NOT MOVE FIRE RINGS. All fires must be out
when not attended.
During fire season, when directed by the Kittitas County Fire Marshall, there will
be NO FIRES.. This includes the burning of wood, briquets, tiki torches and candles of any kind. The
only exception to this rules is the use of propane gas burners. Violators will be referred to Rule #3.
10. CAMP FACILITIES:
They are here for your enjoyment and convenience. Please take care of them.
11. CHILDREN: Parents are personally and legally responsible for the actions and conduct of their children.
Children must be in the parents/guardians campsite and must be accompanied by an adult after 10:00p.m.
No ridding of bicycles after dusk in the campgrounds.
12. FIREARMS: Firearms or fireworks shall not be discharged in the campground.
13. CAMPSITES:
Caretakers will assign campsites during the busy season. The campsites are your home away from
home. Please keep area policed at all times. No vehicle shall be allowed to park in any way to block the access
or egress of any other vehicle. Campsites are on a first-come-first-served basis, excluding the handicapped sites.
14. HANDICAPPED PARKING:
The first four (4) sites may be reserved for handicapped parking only. The caretakers
may use other sites if needed. Sites with handicapped signs are for handicapped plates or approved state stickers.
15. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES:
May be consumed by all person’s 21 years of age and older.
16. CURFEW: Quiet hours are from 1:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.
17. RESTRICTED AREAS:
These are posted for your safety. Please keep out. No camping allowed in
the Designated Storage Area.
18. UNATTENDED VEHICLES:
Vehicles, campers, RV's, etc., may not be left unattended for more than
24 hours. Eagle Valley Association is not responsible for any loss or damage. Vehicles left
unattended over a 24-hour period must be moved from the campsite to a storage area.
EXCEPTION:
RV's with a paid sticker on the windshield and all weekly or monthly rentals, and the site known
as the "Founder’s Area." The area known as the Founder's Area (Wily Coyote Area) is given to the
founder, Jerry Morton, to use as long as he is an Eagle member. There will be no camping fees
charged for the founder's RV.
19. ACCIDENTS:
Eagle Valley Association is not responsible for accidents. Camp at your own risk.
20. RAFFLES/SALES:
Are not allowed unless the proceeds go to Eagle Valley, with the exception of
the approved Arts and Crafts Festival, and the Aerie and Auxiliary State Presidents' project and
charity.
21. DISCIPLINARY/APPEALS BOARD:
Consists of five (5) members of the Board of Directors of Eagle
Valley. Complaints and/or appeals may be filed in writing, with either the Chairman of the Board
of Directors or the Secretary-Treasurer of the Board of Directors.
